CSE v9 won't start

CSE v9 now suddenly will not start (Win 7). A dialog box comes up that says : "Error Debugger detected. (304)"

???? Any ideas?

I'm sorry for the trouble. Did you install any new software recently, especially security or system software? It could be interfering. You might also want to try rebooting your computer. Other than that, I don't know what might be the problem, but please let me know what happens.

I checked with PCtools and they say it's not their error message. (I'm running, have been for years, Spyware Doctor with antivirus, and I thought that was throwing the error msg). Apparently it is a message from the OS. I will let you know what happens.

It is probably a message from CSE HTML Validator's anti-piracy code (which helps prevent theft), but if you have recently installed PCtools, then that may have caused the CSE HTML Validator message to trigger.

You could try v10 trial and see if it works. In any case, I would recommend upgrading to get the latest features and syntax checking improvements. v9.0 is no longer in development and there will be no more v9.0 updates.
