Authentification on site test

Postby etnalubma » Tue Dec 28, 2010 9:17 am

Hi,
I like to validate a site that requires authentification to enter. I tried using username and password and checking the "Use username and password" box, but it doesn't authentificate correctly. I tried to find the authentification method that CSE Validator Pro v10.00 uses, but I couldn't find information about it.

My question is: Is there some way to customize the authentification method? what is the authentification method that CSE Validator uses?

Thanks for your attention.

Hi Francisco,

CSE HTML Validator supports HTTP and NTLM authentication. If other authentication is required, then you may not be able to use the Batch Wizard, but the integrated web browser will probably work since it uses the same engine as IE. I hope this helps.
