No Disk dialogue box on document reload

Hi Albert,

I have notice this annoying behavior lately.
Whenever I put a CD in drive D: and then removing it.

In CSE, when I attempt a page reload using the right click I get the No disk dialogue box asking to insert a disk.

Exiting CSE and re-starting the program will not fix the issue.

But a reboot will ...

Hello,

I'm sorry for the annoyance.

Do you have the Shell 1 or Shell 2 window open? If so, can you try closing them and restarting CSE HTML Validator and letting me know if the problem occurs (without re-opening a Shell Window). I suspect that may be the culprit.

Both shell windows are always closed to save real estate since I use open from the web.

Hi Daniel,

I am not sure what this could be. It could be an issue with a driver. I wonder if you have another computer that you use CSE HTML Validator on? If so, have you ever had this issue there?

Another thought might be the link checker if it is automatically trying to check links in the background, perhaps a link for a drive that is not available or that there is no disk in. You could try turning the automatic link checking off in the Options->Editor Options and see if that has any effect.

I tried inserting a CD in drive D: on another computer while CSE was open and there was no problem. I was able to right click to reload the document.

I will have to investigate what is causing that computer to do this on a right click.
I just now remember that another software was giving me the same behavior on a right click ... I tried it and got the no disk in drive message.

I did not find a solution but CSE HTML Validator is NOT at fault.
