edit batch fails

Postby roedygr » Wed Sep 14, 2011 9:06 pm

I asked for this many times. I thought I would just poke the idea one more time to see if I can get its priority percolated up.

I do a batch validation. I then get a list of problem files in the browser. I then must cut and paste these names individually into the Validator to edit, revalidate, and set about manually repairing the problems.

I would like that process automated. It could even be this automated: after batch validate is done, it automatically loads and revalidates the failing pages and makes a weird noise to summon me for manual intervention.

Yes, this has been "on my mind". I'd like to figure out a solution, but other items have taken more importance.

What if you could drag & drop the target link from the browser that you are using to view the report on onto CSE HTML Validator to open it? I'm not sure but that may be easily possible (will require further research though).
