V11 error on launch

Postby rickc074 » Wed Oct 26, 2011 10:53 pm

upon launch, after the program loads, I get an error dialog: List out of bounds(4).

clicking OK makes the list go away, and the program appears to run.
it does not save the list of files that were open when it was closed.

Hello,

I'm sorry for the trouble. I'm not sure what is causing this and have not had other reports of this.

When starting CSE HTML Validator, are you wanting to re-open the documents that were open when you last closed CSE HTML Validator? If so, do you have the "Reopen documents that were open at the last shutdown" option checked in the Startup page of the Options->Editor Options?

Also, if you are still getting that "List out of bounds(4)" error, then can you send me a screenshot with the error message and the CSE HTML Validator window in the background? That might give me some clues as to what is causing the problem.

after getting the error last night, I went back to v10 because I had some editing to do. I left the files in the editor (saved but not closed) that I was editing in the editor and exited it. When I restarted v10, the files were reopened (I like that).

When I started v11, it also reopened those files, and there was no error message. I then closed all of those files and exited the editor.

Upon restarting v11, there were no open files, and no error message. Go figure!

That's strange... can you reproduce this? If so, then please tell me the steps and I'll try to reproduce the problem here.
