11.0.1 on Windows 8 Consumer Preview

I have installed Windows 8 Consumer Preview on my PC.

CSE HTML Validator 11.0.1 Pro does not run - I get the launch window then the program vanishes. The process stays in memory and has to be terminated manually. I tried running as admin with Windows 7 compatibility but to no avail.

Reinstalled 11.0 pro which works OK.

Hi Anthony,

I have Window 8 Consumer Preview on my notebook and I was running CSE HTML Validator but a slightly different version/edition. I then installed the latest release version of CSE HTML Validator Professional (for licensed users and probably what you are trying to run) and encountered the same issue.

I then installed the trial version, and that seems to run!

I will have to do a little investigating.

I PM'd you a link to a pre-release version to try. This one works for me in Windows 8.
