CSE HTML Validator

I am running CSE HTML Validator Standard, v. 11.0230 (Win 7, 64 bit).

I would like to save the output shown in the Links tab (after running validate on a file), but cannot find a way to do it. I can get a list of either all, or broken, links, but this lacks the detailed information such as the Status code and the Comment field. Basically the problem is that I can't find a way to select (so I can then Copy) all the text in the Links window.

Any help on this?

Hi John,

I think you've found the available options. One other option you might consider (if you have the pro or enterprise edition) is using the Batch Wizard to generate link reports in HTML format.

Would a new option to export the links to a CSV (comma separated value) format be useful to you? Then it could include all the fields and you could load it into Excel or other spreadsheet.

Thanks. I'll try to get that into a future update.

I was able to add a new "Export Links to CSV" option in time for the upcoming v12 release. It includes all the possible fields in the Links tab.

I've just given it a quick try -- saving All the links as text, and also as CSV. Both seemed just fine. Thanks for including this feature!
