See attached png that shows an error message. I could not copy paste it.

I think you mean "center".

Actually, "vertical-align: central" is correct:

There is no such thing as text-align:middle, but this is a vertical-align:middle for vertical alignment
and text-align:center for horizontal alignment

There is no vertical-align:center though there is a text-align:center for horizontal alignment and vertical-align:middle for vertical alignment.

There is no vertical-align:centre though there is a vertical-align:center for vertical alignment.

You might want to proofread your error message file to make sure you are consistent.

The handling of middle/center/centre (Canadian spelling) is a common source of confusion. You might add those hints to the error messages.

If you find any message that is wrong or inconsistent, then please post the exact message text.

Thanks. I'll see if I can through in a hint when "centre" is used.

oops. That is a HTMValidator problem, not a TopStyle problem.

No problem, I've moved this thread to a CSE HTML Validator forum.

However, I am not aware of any issues with incorrect validator messages (the validator message in the first post was correct as "central" is a valid value). Are there any other messages that you think might be incorrect that CSE HTML Validator is generating?

The next update should generate additional informational error messages if "centre" appears to be used instead of "center". Please let me know if there are any other common misspellings that you'd like hints about.
