DLL error in CSERunJob

Postby Daniel Lacroix » Thu Feb 07, 2013 2:00 pm

Hi Albert,

I am getting the following error on an infrequent basis while checking links with the batch wizard using the cmdlineprocessor.

Note that I am downloading our web site on a PC, and then using the batch wizard to do separate validation and links checks reports. It doesn't happen with the same page.

The dialogue box says:

A validator DLL error occured.

CSE HTML Validator Professional v11.0214 DLL error in CSERunJob().
100052901: LinkCheckHTMLAux() failed

On the Batch Wizard - Batch Progress tab I see the following:

*** A problem occured processing the target "c:\webs\anypage.htm"
Details: "2008052802: 0: (no error text)" ***

When I click OK, the links check proceeds.

Would there be a way for it to wait an amount of time and retry to proceed. I am suspecting our new enhanced security on our PC's.

Hi Daniel,

I'm sorry for the trouble.

I would recommend upgrading to v12.0024 (the current version). If you still encounter this issue, then I would be able to look into it further. I cannot look into these types of issues with v11 as it is not in development anymore.

At the very least, I would recommend upgrading to v11.0230, which is the latest v11 version and is a free update for anyone with a v11 license.

I do not know of any way to do what you want. Perhaps there is a 3rd party program that could click "OK" on that dialog for you, though I think the best solution would be to upgrade and see if that fixes it.
