A strange question maybe

I am just now getting back into web coding. In the process I have been looking for a *good* editor.
Is there any reason I couldn't just use CSE HTML Validator as my main web editor instead of using another editor and then linking to CSE?
Regards,

Hi Chuck,
No, I don't see any reason why you couldn't use CSE HTML Validator as your main editor. It's not as feature packed for editing as some dedicated HTML/CSS editors like TopStyle, but that's not a reason why you can't use it.
If you do want more editor features, then I'd first take a look at TopStyle, because it supports integration with CSE HTML Validator better than most.

Chuck,
Let me second that. I use CSE HTML Validator as my editor to maintain several websites using html and or php. I also use TopStyle to maintain the related CSS style sheets, mostly because I'm to old (lazy) to keep track of all the available variables and parameters.

Lou/Albert;
I hadn't upgraded my HTML Validator in some time, so I thought it might do to take a look. As I already also have TopStyle, that should then after upgrading leave me good to go!
Thanks,
Chuck
