Cyrillic letters

Postby Yury » Fri May 22, 2009 5:21 am

I use CSE HTML Validator Lite v9.0 and I need to write text in different languages on a webpage. Since Russian is one of them, I have to use cyrillic letters. At the moment, I can only write the cyrillic text in codes, because othervise Validator shows the letters as question marks. Is it possible to use cyrillic letters in Validator? Writing codes takes a lot of time and I would really appreciate your help.

Best regards,
Yury.

Try this tool: http://konieczny.be/unicode.html - it has been useful for me.

Are you using a font that supports Unicode? Also, you may need to load or save the document with a specified encoding, or, in some cases, CSE HTML Validator may use the wrong encoding. Feel free to send me any sample files - to support at htmlvalidator dot com if you still have trouble.

I see the original message was posted awhile back. I'm not sure why I didn't see or respond to it earlier. I must have missed it and apologize for that.
