403 link keeps getting checked

No matter what I do, 'http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=referer' keeps getting checked (and comes back a 403 error, naturally).
In the batch wizard, I have 'http://validator.w3.org*' in both the 'Don't process target' AND the 'Don't check link'. It still keeps getting checked.

Any ideas - aside from removing the link manually from 3500 pages?

Hello,

Try changing "http://validator.w3.org" to "http://validator.w3.org*" (add the asterisk) in the "Don't check these links" option. Or you could change it to "*validator.w3.org*".

Or simply restarting the program, but it's finally ignoring validator.w3

Have you tried the "Don't check these links" filter in the Link Checking tab of the Validator Engine Options?
