Invalid line index message

Postby Daniel Lacroix » Wed Mar 31, 2010 2:11 pm

Hi Albert,

We finally upgraded to version 9 ...

When doing, batch validation or batch links checks, I am now getting the following:
Invalid line index: 1. Valid range [0,0]. message.

It would happen after the first target, second ... not consistent.

All my checking are done on file folders since the web site would have been crawled and downloaded on disk, since it's a very big site.

I have batch files that does only validation, only internal link checks or only external link checks.

I first thought, it was a problem with my .lst target files but it seems they are still valid with version 9.

Any idea?

Thanks.
Daniel.

Sorry Daniel, I'm not sure... though I wonder if you have an empty file in there that might be causing the problem?

In order for me to investigate, I'd need this reproduced in the current v10 BETA. Are you able to try the v10 BETA and see if you can reproduce it and provide more details? Thank you.

Albert,

I have installed the current v10 BETA and getting the same message ...
Using the batch wizard with the cmdlineprocessor with multiple targets.

Thanks. Can you narrow it down and tell me exactly how to reproduce it?

I was able to reproduce the error on a very small sample.

I will try it home, without the office firewall and antivirus, and let you know the results.

Thanks. Please let me know. The more you can narrow it down the more likely I can find the problem.

Albert,

I am getting the same message on my home pc.

I will send you my batch files and some sample pages that I use to replicate the problem, to your support account.

Daniel.
