Impossible to view source with Notepad

I have done a reinstall and I am no longer able to view the source in Notepad. I use IE8. In the browser window, I have 3 options to view the source in the browser window:

1) The "Edit" button which opens CSE HTML Validator (as expected)

2) View -> Source which also opens CSE HTML Validator

3) Page -> View Source which also opens CSE HTML Validator

I think one of them (at least) should open the page in Notepad. Any ideas how to fix this?

My guess is that "view" is a result of the list of default programs set in the OS. Go to control panel and look for Default Programs.

This is what worked: in IE8 - Tools -> Developer Tools -> Customize Internet Explorer View Source ->Notepad
