Dissapearing Cursor (Text Carat)

Difficult bug to reproduce but seems to happen when the Preview is open (and I have IE9 installed incidentally). What happens is the flashing text cursor in the editor window completely disappears so I have no idea where I'm typing.

I have had the same experience. The cursor remains 'present' but not visible. The workaround I have found is to change the cursor from Insert to Overwrite mode (with the Insert key) and then immediately change it back, again with the Insert key. It then remains visible until it chooses again to disappear.
