TopStyle 4 - CSE Validator button greyed out

Hi,

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit at work, and have installed the latest versions of CSE Validator Professional and TopStyle 4.

However, the CSE validator button is greyed out in the validation toolbar. I have tried removing the validation toolbar and adding it, and have tried rebooted Windows to resolve the problem but to no avail. I've looked through TopStyle and CSE's options but can't see any options relating to integration - as far as I can recall, the CSE Validator button has previously auto-configured itself in Topstyle if it detects CSE Validator is installed on the system.

Any ideas, please?

Hi again,

I managed to solve the problem.

The button remained greyed out, but I was able to access the CSE Validator functions through the HTML > CSE Validator menu. After I'd initialised CSE validation for a document once via this method, the toolbar button became available.

Hi Blake,

I think TopStyle also needs to know that the current document is an HTML file (or "validatable" file) before it enables the button. Do you have a file opened with an "html" extension?
