Topstyle 4 license key not working with new Topstyle 5

Perhaps I am confused but I thought my Topstyle 4.0 key would work with the new Topstyle 5.0?
I clicked and downloaded Topstyle 5 from the link that stated this was where the file was located that would be unlocked using my previously purchased key.
When I use the key, nothing appears to happen. no error message; no notice that it is the wroung number, etc.
Nothing at all.

Can anyone help me?
