Does TopStyle have these features for v4?

I was wondering if their is a feature for CSS Validator since I did find the HTML validator, is it hiding somewhere?

Also, is their a imagemap editor so I can figure out the coordinates of a hotspot? Like in Fireworks?

For the CSS Validator, open your stylesheet in Top Style's editor, make it the active document in the editor,
then select the "Tools |W3C CSS Validator" option from the menu bar.

Can't comment on the imagemap editor question, I'm new to the program too!

CSE HTML Validator Std/Pro also checks CSS but this ability does not seem to be available for CSS files in TopStyle 4.0.0.72. Stefan, can you add this or perhaps I am missing it? Thanks.

I haven't checked if theirs a css validator option with a standalone .css file, but right now I have a css style embedded in an html file for practice sake. I still don't see why it won't have a css validator when only an html file is open.

I don't think their's an option for css validator hiding in the option menu as it should be right next to the html validator option.

I guess I have lost track of the question in the OP

In TopStylen 4.0.0.72 with a CSS file current in the editor, I see the W3C CSS validator on the Tool drop down, and a W3C CSS button. With a HTML file current I see buttons for both CSE HTML Validator and for W3C HTML validator.

In CSE HTML Validator 9.0302 I see a link to CSS validation with TopStyle. Albert I don't see links to W3C validators.

There are no links to W3C validators/checkers in CSE HTML Validator.

The issue I see here is that there is no option to validate a CSS file with CSE HTML Validator in TopStyle. Maybe this can be addressed in a future version.

I had a case several years ago of a problematic CSS sheet.

TopStyle didn't help me identify the issue but CSE did.

It was malformed syntax within the sheet. (Can't remember details.)

Optional use of CSE from TopStyle can be valuable.

CSE HTML Validator Std/Pro also checks the CSS in HTML documents. It checks the CSS in "style" elements, as well as in the "style" attribute, so there is no need to use separate HTML and CSS checkers.

TopStyle's built-in Style Checker works with internal stylesheets too (CSS in <style> elements).
