Customizing HTML Toolbar

Postby recce101 » Mon Aug 09, 2010 1:49 pm

I'm trying to customize the HTML Toolbar in TopStyle 4 similar to how I did it in HomeSite 5.5 — move the items I use most frequently into the Common tab or, alternatively, create a new Custom tab for that purpose. The only customization I've been able to accomplish so far is to show or hide individual tabs, and I haven't found a way to change the contents of any given tab. I tried moving the files in my <user>\Application Data\...\HTMLToolbar folder with no results. What am I missing?

If there is a _folderinfo.txt file in the directory that represents a tab, then you need to edit that file too.

I'm not sure I understand. I edited the _folderinfo.txt in this folder:
P:\Program Files (x86)\TopStyle 5\user\HtmlToolbar\Text
I also made new files for H4, H5 & H6 tags using the H3.htm file as a template. But, when I re-open TopStyle the tab hasn't changed. What am I doing wrong?

You edited the wrong file. Please do not edit the file(s) in C:\Program Files (x86)\TopStyle 5\

Your HTML toolbar is here: C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Bradsoft.com\TopStyle\5.0

Thanks!
