Click to jump to html position

Postby JoeB » Fri Nov 23, 2012 6:56 am

I'm not sure if this is already possible, i'm new to TS5, and cant find it if its there.

In the preview, when editing a HTML file, is it possible to turn off "follow links", and turn on "jump to correct position in html" ?

so when I click an image, or some text, the editor will jump to the correct position that correspond with the preview.

Dreamweaver does this, and i really find it useful for navigating.

Please turn on this setting: Options (F8) > Preview > "sync the editor with preview selection"

Then switch your internal preview to Internet Explorer (it defaults to Chromium).

Now when you select some text in the preview panel, the cursor position in the editor will automatically synchronize with the corresponding text.

Thanks. Is it possible to turn off "follow links", e.g. do nothing when i click a link in the preview?

Most of the items i need to sync with the editor are images, which are links.
