easy way to use id class html name in selector

It a shamewhen using IE preview and clik on an html element that the path appear but is not selectable.
It is also strange that the inner is in the left . I think thee is an explanation .

I think also something like an xpath for intellisanse could be implemented ? ( see capture screen)
