Open file location

Postby CrispinH » Wed Jul 07, 2010 1:31 pm

Visual Studio and a number of other products have a useful item on the File menu, namely Open file location. This opens the file location for the current file in Windows Explorer. It's a very useful facility and easy to implement.

I'm not sure I understand. What is the "current file" in Windows Explorer?

Sorry I can see the ambiguity now. By the current file I mean the file that has the focus in TopStyle. So if I have an open file:

C:\webwork\client\a client\clients website\styles\css.css

What I want to be able to do is go to the File menu item or the right-click context menu and click on Open file location at which point, Windows Explorer opens in the folder:

C:\webwork\client\a client\clients website\styles

Hope that makes more sense.

Shouldn't be too hard. I'll add this to a future build.
