Just wanted to share what I found awhile back regarding modern font-families.
This page seems to have a good handle on it and I've updated all my css to reflect it: http://kv5r.com/web-dev/the-new-font-family/
As a result, I now see messages about Linux or Mac fonts, which I know I can ignore.
This is more of a "sharing", than "complaining" post.
