Keyword Analyzer

Does anyone have any interest in a keyword analyzer as part of CSE HTML Validator? This may be useful for people trying to improve their search engine rankings. Perhaps something similar to this:

Or would you prefer the time spent on that feature to be spent on even better syntax checking? Please be sure to answer the poll question and then post any response you'd like.

Hi Albert,
If you integrated a keyword analyzer I would use it. It would save that trawl through all the text. This would be of most value on pages one has only copy/pasted into the web page with no real personal interest the subject matter.

i think the inclusion of a keyword analyzer and other functions that might make suggestions to improve ranking, readability by robots, etc. would be an appropriate and useful addition to HTML Validator. but at the expense of every-better syntax checking? nope. so figured instead of doing the either/or poll, i'd post that i'd like both .

getting to the point of finding it hard to imagine improving this tool much .

BOTH sounds good to me too!

But, built-in HTML Tidy sounds even better. Tidy really helps me to find things that might be overlooked. It's worth taking time to check with it, but would be AWESOME having it included with CSE (which I just Love!).

I think that the checking is quite good already. It maybe improvable but I do not see much sense in a keyword checking feature. What could that possibly tell me anyways what I don't already know having set up keywords and stuff manually?

Anyways, I'd rather vote for an Eclipse Plugin which would not only enhance the IDE quality but also make CSE more popular. So from a quality and a business point of view I would go for the plugin.

Not to imply that the syntax checking is bad!

I use specialist tools for checking my pages for search suitability and there is a danger of the program trying to cover too wide a range rather than concentrating on the core functionality.

Thank you all for your feedback. I also am worried about getting too far off-track from what CSE does best. It certainly doesn't look like there's enough interest for a keyword analyzer to justify the time needed and the negative impact on adding other features to CSE's syntax checker.
