Is it possible to feed in more than one user function?

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to feed in more than one user function (.cfg) file into CSE HTML Validator Pro v11?

Albert passed me the test build for Pro v11 - wherein I was able to feed in my custom validation rules (.cfg) file. However, there is provision to feed in only one file.

Is it possible to feed in multiple files? Will this be considered as a part of future release? Has this been done on purpose?

Thanks in Advance :)!

Actually, I had not though about multiple user function files, but I can see how it could make sense for certain purposes.

Questions:

1. How many user function files would you want to be able to specify?
2. For what reason(s) would you need more than one?

Thanks!

Hi Albert,

We would require 2 -
1. First to test HTML coding patterns for users using 'XYZ' CSS
2. And second to test HTML coding patterns for users who use both 'XYZ' and 'ABC' CSS - so in this case either I could create a copy of the first user function file and add additional functions or simply create a separate file.

That way if in future I have to test for HTML that runs only on 'ABC' CSS - I will not have to create a third file.

Just thinking from a standardization perspective, not that we cannot do without it.

Thanks!

Thanks! I've just added the ability to specify up to 2 user function files. This should easily let someone use up to 2 config files.
