Knock on effect of bad quoting in source page

Postby MikeGale » Mon Mar 20, 2006 11:14 pm

I have noticed that CSE is sometimes thrown out by source that looks something like

<tag1 attrib1=value1">

(The example I saw was similar to this but I can't recall the URL. It caused errors for several subsequent lines.)

I found an example of this at a 37signals site (which surprised me).

It would be good if CSE recovered from this sort of thing more quickly and didn't issue so many 'knock on' errors.

Hi Mike,

This has been an issue for a while now. I've been aware of it but haven't gotten a chance to try to improve it yet. This type of mismatched quote currently confuses the parser causing a multitude of certain errors to appear. I am aware of it and plan to hopefully address it at some point in the future. :-)
