CSE HTML Validator v9.0

Postby Albert Wiersch » Wed May 30, 2007 3:13 pm

Development will soon start on CSE HTML Validator v9.0 (wow! version 9! :) ). I already have a list of previous feature requests, however, I'm still open to further requests and suggestions for the upcoming version. Please post them to this forum if there's anything new you'd like to request for v9.0. Also, please feel free to restate a previous request.

Also, let me know what you'd like to see the most!

Please keep in mind that most development time will be on the syntax checking (including CSS, accessibility, link checking, etc.) and not on the editor (though some time will be spent on it).

Site Wide Validation

Postby Webnauts » Tue Aug 07, 2007 10:23 pm

The best thing I could ever imagine is, if the new version could perform a site and not only one page validation!

Extension

Postby Webnauts » Tue Aug 07, 2007 10:24 pm

Another thing would be great if you could add an extension where batch results templates can be easily modified. Like the company name, etc.

Sorry, I don't understand. Did you know that the Batch Wizard can follow links? You can give it one URL and it can crawl a site and validate it.

http://www.htmlvalidator.com/htmlval/v8 ... ebsite.htm

If that's not want you want then can you give me more details?

You can use your own footer in the Batch Wizard reports, as well as your own external style sheet. This allows some customization of the reports. Did you want more customization than this?
