Media/MIME type reporting and checking

What do you think of:

1. An optional MIME type column for link checking results so you can see what MIME type the server is returning

and possibly

2. Some type of MIME type checking based on file extension.

The above could be a possible new feature of the next major version.

It would be useful to see the MIME types.

I would like to see (and act on) any inconsistencies in my own work without undue effort, so checks would be useful.

(I'd even be happy for a "plug in" architecture that lets me build "MIME type checkers" that inspecting content. That would force me to get more familiar with those formats...)
