Beta will flag that as an error. That does not make sense. Sometimes it wants the x word first, sometimes second.

W3C uses this order background-position: top left
in other words Y then X for words, but X then Y for percentages.

This is goofy, but from experiment that is how it seems to work.

Can you send me a sample document that reproduces this problem? CSE HTML Validator v9.0 BETA 1 did not generate any errors for me with the following CSS document so I'm not sure what is happening:
