PHP checking in v9

Postby Albert Wiersch » Tue Aug 05, 2008 12:15 am

Any PHP developers out there using CSE HTML Validator v9?

Check out the PHP syntax checking in v9. You just need to enable this and tell CSE HTML Validator where the php.exe executable is.

I am finding this very handy when updating my PHP scripts.

I use PHP on a Linux server for this website. I downloaded the Windows binaries for PHP and am able to use them for syntax checking in CSE HTML Validator v9 when working with the PHP scripts that will actually be run on Linux.

You can download PHP Windows binaries here:

I was going to ask you about that.

I have php installed at home, but my php files are for another website so no database available.

I got some weird errors that I should forward to you. Don't recall what they were. Is there a setting I should check for this situation?

Sure, send me the errors and all the details.

PHP through CSE HTML Validator only does a syntax check, but it is still very helpful when developing PHP.
