More Info about View Source in Internet Explorer (IE) on a 64-bit OS

Albert Wiersch wrote:RSteinwand,
Were you able to get this to work in the current BETA if you ran CSE HTML Validator as administrator?

RSteinwand wrote:I don't have access to Vista x64 at the moment, I upgraded it to Windows 7 x64, build 7000 (beta 1). View source gives me IE8's developer tool version of view source, even tho IE says to open it in Word. Ran CSE as admin, set CSE to be the default, reopened IE8 and still opens in IE8's viewer.
When I posted that bug previously, running as admin didn't work either. This is also the same one that didn't have those keys you posted.

RSteinwand wrote:Hi Albert. I think the problem is neither "view source editor" node exists on my computer (as I posted above):
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\View Source Editor\Editor Name]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\View Source Editor\Editor Name]
Is it possible changing to the default editor in a previous version, deleted them?
