I am guessing you will have an eval at some point so I can verify the NTLM authentication works for us before we purchase an upgrade since that is the main feature I was highly anticipating.

Hello,

NTLM authentication was one thing that I worked on with BETA 3. I found the problem and corrected it and tested it so it should now work. If you'd like to try it, then you can purchase an upgrade. I'll refund your money within 30 days if you are not happy. Also, if you upgrade to v7.0 pro now, then you'll receive free upgrades until 2006-06-20. Upgrades purchased between now and June 20th are automatically considered by our upgrade system as being purchased on June 20th, because that is the planned release date of v7.0 pro. That means you'll get a year of free upgrades from that date (pro edition). Please note that even though the upgrade system considers it purchased June 20th, your card will be charged as soon as you order the upgrade.

My purchasing people got my license for CSE HTML Validator upgraded, so I have tried beta3 and still cannot do batch validation of NT authenticated web sites.

Hello,

Can you use File->Open from the Web to open a document on a web server that requires NTLM authentication? Be sure to check the Use username and password checkbox and enter the username and password. Please let me know what happens.

If it works there, then it should work in the Batch Wizard. In the Batch Wizard, right-click on the target that is not working and choose Properties. Goto the URL Specific tab and make sure the options are set to use a username and password and that the username and password are entered correctly. Try testing it with the same URL as you did with File->Open from the Web. Please let me know what happens.

I was having a conflict with v6.5 which I still have installed since v7 is beta. I did a test on my virtual PC where I uninstalled v6.5 and then installed v7 and then the authentication worked fine.

Great Job Albert!
