How does everyone like the new RSS feed? How are you using it and what program do you use for reading RSS feeds?

I use FeedDemon to read RSS feeds. Firefox supports RSS feeds with Live Bookmarks (goto the Bookmarks manager to add a Live Bookmark and use the RSS feed URL as the feed location).

I noticed that you can also specify your own RSS feeds for your customized Yahoo page (My Yahoo) if you use that.

Nice looking new forum here Albert!

I also use FeedDemon for my RSS. For those who are not familiar with RSS they might want to set up a free account with bloglines.com first to see how feeds work. I personally LOVE having forum messages come to me instead of me always having to go to them. :)

I haven't explored much here yet, will there be (or are there now?) feeds from here? If so, I'll add them to my other FeedDemon feeds. You also asked how we're currently using RSS. Below is a summary list of my primary feeds at the moment:

ABC Nightline
ABC Politics
Batchworld
CSE HTML Validator
DOpus at Yahoo!
DOpus RC Forum
DOpus RC News
FeedDemon
MajorGeeks
NET 247
PCWorld
Quotes - Motivate
Quotes of the Day
TopStyle Support
XXcopy Forum
Yahoo! Sports
Yahoo! Top News

Thanks! The new forum definitely looks much better than the old one.

I do not know whether there will be RSS feeds from here. I may investigate that as there are additional "mods" for this forum that may provide an RSS feed. But first there should probably be more activity here. 8)

:) Hi!

I like this new forum. Looks good. I also use FeedDemon and received your RSS notice about the new forum. I'm trying to move as much to RSS as possible and cut down on the amount of email.

Good luck with this new forum, Albert. Now I finally know what you look like!

Regards, Pat

I too use FeedDemon, and my favourite browser (Opera) also has an RSS Feed reader.

Heya,

First of all, neato new forum!

I tend to use FeedDemon as my main RSS reader (handling all the different feeds of varying interest), and the built in RSS reader in Opera 7.60 for a handful of the most interesting and high volume feeds.
