Avatar Restriction?

Hi there,
is there any restriction on the avatar feature other than noted in the profile panel?
I have tried to upload and to reference by URL to a GIF or JPG that is not bigger than 90*90 pixel and does not exceed a size of 6KB.

What could be wrong?

Hello George,

Sorry about that. It looks like the avatar directory permissions were wrong due to the server move a while back. Please try again.
