seeing replies

I start threads then forget about them, or can't find them again. I thus miss the replies to my messages.

I would would like to get the text of a the reply or the url of the message in an email notification.

On the other hand, a don't want private email from users.

Is that possible? I did not see a box to request it in the configuration.

Hello,

Are you subscribed to the topics? If you are, then you should receive an email when someone replies to the topic.

You may want to set the "Notify me upon replies by default" option to 'Yes'. It is in User Control Panel->Board preferences->Edit posting defaults section.

Note: When you are subscribed, there will be an "Unsubscribe topic" link because it is a link to click if you want to unsubscribe... so when you see "Unsubscribe topic" it means you are subscribed and when you see a "Subscribe topic" link it means you are unsubscribed.
