Feature Request - Customizable location for HTML Tidy

Albert,

I have had a number of programs on my PC that install their own version of HTML Tidy, which for various reasons may or may not be the latest. When a new version is released I have to manually copy a new tidy.exe to each program's main directory. Would it be possible to provide a program option for the location of tidy.exe to be customizable but with a default of the CSE program location? For instance I keep my master copy of tidy.exe under C:\Utils\ and if every program that I have that use HTML Tidy could be made to look at that location I would only have to update HTML Tidy once and could run whichever version I choose regardless of what version you are currently distributing.

Hi Paul,

You can set the path to HTML Tidy in CSE HTML Validator v8.0 by setting "TidyPathV80" in the key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AI Internet Solutions\CSE HTML Validator v4\Validator DLL\Tidy".
