Batch strip tags tool

Postby kellyholmes » Tue May 24, 2005 10:26 am

I just discovered the strip tags setting in the Batch Wizard. Very cool!

This will come in very handy when we're trying to review only the content that's changed between versions of documents...big timesaver.

I have 2 questions though:
  • Is there any way to tell the strip tags tool to leave behind links? That's a bit like content so it would be nice to see that as well. But I understand that's not necessarily the purpose of this tool.
  • Is there any way to use the Batch Wizard to compare the documents in two folders and give a report of the differences? I couldn't find an option to do that, but it would be very useful.

Hello,

Sorry, there's not a way to leave behind anything in any tag. Also, there's no compare mechanism.

If you want to compare HTML documents, have a look at this tool:

Hope this helps!
