CSE HTML Validator

Hi, guys! I know I'm probably posting in the wrong forum (didn't find a forum for introductions), so I thought I'd strike up a discussion while simultaneously introducing myself....if that's alright, of course. Originally, I came on here to learn more about the HTML Validator, but found this intriguing section. I don't know TOO much about SEO aside from the fact that it's used to promote websites to the first page of SERPs and increase traffic to one's site. One such technique is link building, but there seem to be a lot of grey areas. What's considered GOOD linkbuilding and what's considered spam? I'm a lil' confused. ;-;

Well guest posting on topic related blogs is considered good by most link builders. Then creating viral content that attracts attention can get you links, but that is the hardest thing to do since you need to have a catchy headline and great content.

Ignore most of what was written before the launch of the Panda and Penguin changes in the Google algorithm.
As a starter - seriously think about building good original content and developing a means of easily/quickly adding to that content - probably a blog on your own site.

Spammy linkbuilding can be involving in link networks, spinning content and adding links, basically if it doesn't look natural then it can be considered spam!

One of the most promising ways to build backlinks to a website, naturally ofcourse is to install a blog under your domain. Populate it with appealing Title and fill it up with highly unique and informative content. Make sure that the content is useful to your audience, leave the rest to these visitors. Soon you'd start realizing its effect in the analytics software. Such an article is usually liked, shared and linked back by visitors, hence helping you get an advantage from an SEO standpoint.

Next is, you identify blog similar to your niche and check if they accept guest posts. This is a good and ethical way of link-building, where it is a win-win situation, you build content for the blog while the blog owner would give you a couple of backlinks to your page/s.
