Google Display Network

I do use AdWords, but do not currently use the "Display Network".

I have been receiving several cards from Google lately (in the postal mail), and one of them was regarding the Display Network.

Here are some links I found that were informative as to whether one should use the Display Network or not:

Any thoughts or comments? I'd especially like to hear from people who do use Google's Display Network.

It looks like some experimenting might be in order.
