Cannot Copy / Paste Between Docs

Topstyle 5.0.0.87 - For whatever reason I cannot copy / paste between documents open in TS. In one document I highlight a line I want to copy and right click - copy. I go to a different document that is also open and right click - paste. Nothing gets pasted. I can copy-paste to a document open in a different editor like Ultra-Edit but I cannot copy-paste from the external editors to Topstyle 5.

Am I doing something to cause the problem?

I found that copy / paste does not work while any browser is open. That includes Google Chrome, IE10 and Firefox. I did find that Chrome was starting at windows startup. I deleted the RUN registry entry. Also, I found that Chrome would leave a process open after exiting. In the advance setting, I unchecked the option "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed" and now Chrome exits entirely from memory when closed.

But, while a browser is open, I cannot copy / paste between documents that are open in Topstyle 5.0.0.87. Or even within the same document. It is like the paste function is disabled.

I have exactly the same problem. I'm running 5.0.0.87 on Windows 8 and can't paste anything into TS (I've tried both straight from Chrome and from Chrome via Notepad and then into TS). I had the same issue before I updated versions earlier today and it still seems to be a problem...

Webroot SecureAnywhere appears to be the common denominator for everyone reporting this problem.

Webroot SecureAnywhere appears to be the cause. Please disable the Identity Shield:

1. Open Webroot SecureAnywhere.
2. Open the Identity & Privacy tab.
3. Click the Identity Shield toggle so that the status reads “Identity Shield is Off (Not Recommended).”
4. If prompted, complete the CAPTCHA and click Enter.

Can you please report this problem to Webroot SecureAnywhere? The more of us reporting this problem, the better our chances are of them white-listing TopStyle.
