Thanks for the reply Albert! I don't have this problem when I use my desktop PC with two large LCD monitors but if I need to check something on my laptop everything needs to fit in one smaller screen and I normally use the source window, the integrated browser and the results window. Even if I don't...

I've tried this for another problem and it triggered another problem: The Norton Antivirus / Internet Protection Suite didn't like it so it actually stopped all communication until I uninstalled this patch. The HHCTRL was used by some RealTek Sound Control Panel so I'd rather have the error starting...

Zooming inside the integrated browser?

Hi,

Is there a way to use IE7's zoom possibilities in the integrated browser (or if CSE has any other solution to this). It would be a lot easier to navigate through the sites I'm testing if I don't have to scroll around in a smaller window than they were designed to be viewed in.

/Stefan

Hi Mike, Some kind of script time-out was my first reflection but when I examined this more I could see that there were really no more script rows to run and IE was still behaving as it waited for more. This particular server is not mine so I'm not able to play around with time-out values. If I get ...

IE issue?

This might be misleading but I get the never ending loading message (MikeGale's problem #7) in IE (7) alone (not with HTML Validator browse mode) at some occations when I know for a fact that there are no more code left to interpret. I might add that the output on these pages would not be validated ...

Hi Paul, I think this is a parallell to my problem which I asked about in "How did I get here?" I knew I had some bad links but could not determine where and among those links there were some similar to yours. I used the link checker from W3 to find out on which pages these links were at and then it...

Today I finally found a useful tool for this. It is a link checker at W3.org, "http://validator.w3.org/checklink", that does pretty much what I've been asking for. The configurable options is not very many though and it takes a really long time to finish (if it ever will...) so if something similar ...

Re: How did I get here?

Even though HTML Validator does a good job of checking links, I use another program to ensure all my links work. Quite often I'll use it to check an entire website (I maintain more than one website). It's called Xenu Link Sleuth and you can get it here: http://home.snafu.de/tilman/xenulink.html Bes...

How did I get here?

Hi, I often use SSI or PHP_INCLUDE on my pages and run through everything in the integrated browser but to click all possible links is not possible so that is where the Batch Wizard comes in. However I sometimes get results for pages that I didn't knew existed. Is there a possibility to see the page...

I have tested the feedvalidator.org and it reminds me a lot of the w3 html validator. I like CSE a lot more because I find its messages as more descriptive and it is easier to understand what to fix. With feedvalidator and W3's html validator I get a feeling that I should RTFM first...

RSS validation

I've thought about it, but I think you're the only person who's ever asked. I think most people use tools to create their feeds and wouldn't make use of an RSS checker. But it's always a possibility for a future enhancement. _________________ Thank you, Albert Wiersch AI Internet Solutions Now we a...
