Re: Pingdom Web test.

That stinks that the cost is a lot. I can understand how the costs might not be worth the benefits if you have to pay a lot in licensing costs. For me it was mostly just updating the server and software, turning it on, and doing some testing, which just took time. The server is Linux and server is A...

Re: Pingdom Web test.

That's not bad at all. Can't complain about a 99. I noticed no DNS lookup in the graph... I guess it was already cached.

But yes, definitely should go HTTP/2 if you aren't already (your score still looks great to me even if you aren't using HTTP/2 yet).

Re: Pingdom Web test.

Waking this topic back up... I tested my website from Melbourne, Australia (a US site made me wait in a queue then failed). Looks like my current performance grade for www.htmlvalidator.com is "A" (94). Load time is 2.67s... but only faster than 58% of sites (maybe because I checked from the Austral...

The machine is older and has 4GB of memory. At that memory size I judge 32 bit to be the wisest thing to do.
Thanks! How would it affect your use of CSS HTML Validator if the next major release at the end of this year (or early next) was 64-bit only?

Periodically, maybe once a year, I use a 32 bit Win 10 machine. It's a laptop.

This might be for up to 4 weeks.

In those times I generally need to do some work with the validator.
Interesting... is there a specific reason that is a 32-bit machine? Is it just old?

That's interesting:

"If you don't want me to read your page, then I must read your page".

Am I being too harsh?
Maybe a little too harsh. :)

More like "if you don't want me to index your page then I must read it to see the noindex instruction".

Are you using 'Disallow' in robots.txt and think a search engine won't list your page?

If you're using Disallow in a robots.txt file and you think that a search engine won't link to your page then this is a good read: https://yoast.com/prevent-site-being-indexed/ If you really want a page to not appear in a search engine's results then you should use a meta tag or the X-Robots-Tag HTT...

Re: Custom element support?

I've just released CSS HTML Validator 2018/v18.02 which has support for custom elements if the custom element support option is enabled (it is by default). This should make it easier and more useful when checking documents that use custom elements. This is the initial release with custom element sup...

Re: adding custom *.js files

Oh... those aren't JS scripts though so I was really confused. :D Sorry about that.

You probably want to specify that TNPL script file in the Target List Options tab in the Batch Wizard after you've opened a target list. Specify it in the 'User functions files' field.

Hello, Are you wanting to add custom JavaScript snippets to a text inserter like the User Inserter ? Re: Query about validation of links on wordpress site

Thanks for the video! I see that you are getting this from the link checker when it's checking those links. The web server must not like the request that CSS HTML Validator is making to check the links. Technically it's probably a server issue according to this: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/d...
