Re: Small icons / 4K resolution

Thanks. The next update will have a 'View->Toolbars->Force Bigger Icons' option.

Re: Small icons / 4K resolution

With V2019 the problem is back... I did some testing on my notebook which has a high DPI display and I think the smaller icons are better at 150% and below but it is "borderline" and may depend on the user's display and their preference for smaller/larger icons. Your display must be at exactly 144 ...

Re: Multi-Line Text in Header of Page (v19)

Sorry about that. It looks like a bug in 2019. I'll get it fixed in the next update.

To work around it in the meantime, if you want, you could move the first comment to before the selector instead of after it.

Albert, Just noticed that when I cut/past into a validated file, the valid "green" does not disappear as when I type a character. The "**" Not-saved marker does still appear of course
Thanks. I'll look into this for a future update.

Re: Can't start V2019

UPDATE: I think I found the problem and have fixed it in v19.0011 which is now available (although the update system won't tell you about it yet if you check for updates). If anyone else experiences this issue then please try re-downloading the program and you should get v19.0011.

Re: Can't start V2019

Hi Rene, In that case I do not know why it hung there but I'm glad it's working now. I will review the code in that area, especially where it may be reading registry values. If you'd like you can send the dump to me at support at htmlvalidator dot com. No problem on posting on the forum. That's why ...

Re: Can't start V2019

Hello, Yes, I've run into this before. I suspect it is this: https://www.htmlvalidator.com/support/htmlvalqa.html#q2019010300 Are you using Windows 10 Version 1803? If so then please try updating Windows to a later version or applying the latest updates and fixes for 1803 (use Windows' 'Check for up...

Re: Feature request: spell check exclusion from CSS and Javascript comments

UPDATE: I was able to add an option to check spelling in CSS comments that should be available in the upcoming major update.

The option for spell checking JavaScript comments is not possible at this time because CSS HTML Validator itself does not check or parse JavaScript.

Re: Feature request: spell check exclusion from CSS and Javascript comments

Thanks for the suggestion. It may be possible to add this in a future update to CSS HTML Validator 2019, but not for the initial release.

Re: Best domain name registrar

Following your post, a few months ago, I've registered a domain with namesilo.com -- no problems. Now, I'm planning to transfer bulk of my domains to namesilo.com from name.com. Great. So far I've had no problems with namesilo.com either and also plan to migrate more of my domains to them as they c...

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll note this on my list but will consider it a low priority item compared to other items on the list. :)
