Re: CSS: Root-based URLs

After posting I thought there should be an API for Google fonts, providing a list of available font names. Suppose it could even auto-update at runtime. But then there likely would be trouble with the EU's Global Data Protectorate Regulation (GDPR)...

Re: CSS: Root-based URLs

Albert, I suppose it is one of those things once started in good cheer, only to grow and grow to a point where it requires too much care to keep it up-to-date, yet is too advanced to just drop it. Although I was just going for the errors in this batch check, I noticed a warning about a misspelled in...

Re: CSS: Root-based URLs

Many thanks, Albert. That was real fast! If only all our bugs and little enhancements would be so simple...Never dug into the config editor and did not even think of it now. As an aside: how do you determine valid font names and is there a setting, too? There is a warning about "DejaVu Serif" refere...

Re: CSS: Root-based URLs

Hello Albert, thanks for the confirmation. Glad it has been fixed already. It's easily enough ignored in the reports, only the lack of concise information had worried me, and that stylesheet approach of taking things relative to itself. So my understanding of root-based (or relative) was correct yet...

CSS: Root-based URLs

Hi, testing a site in Batch Wizard with URL target I get this error on a CSS stylesheet: This part of the property value is invalid: "url(/site1/gif/grearr.gif)". It should be removed or corrected. list-style:circle outside url(/site1/gif/grearr.gif); The actual definition: ul { list-style:circle ou...

Re: Find/Replace in Files & UTF-8

Hello Stefan, many thanks for the fix and your effort as I know by the number of in-between hot fixes dealt with in direct contact. As for standard Find/Replace in Files the fix works perfect, beside the two dozen test cases there has not been one single glitch during regular work these days now eit...

Re: Find/Replace in Files & UTF-8

Hello Stefan

Thanks for your reply. I have sent a sample off list and added a screenshot to the OP (can add the sample here, too, of course).

Looking forward to a fix!

Find/Replace in Files & UTF-8

I suppose it is moot to ask about something which smells like a bug for a program that is dead and buried (or is it?). OTOH it may just be an extra setting which I have missed so far: Searching in folders/subfolders (Edit->Find/Replace in Files / ctrl-shift-f) works fine with UTF-8 just as with ANSI...

Re: Link Checking: Internal (Deep) Links

Indeed, that was the message! Always regarded it as circumscription for not testing the actual deep link, just the presence of the file (with the exception, perhaps, when pointing within the same file).

Re: Link Checking: Internal (Deep) Links

Thanks. However, AFAICT it started only after upgrading to 15.x. Of course there is a chance that this actually is older, only went unnoticed since these deep links passed as successful, while now they are all marked as not found.

Re: Link Checking: Internal (Deep) Links

Hi Albert, installed (as update) with TopStyle closed, but unfortunately it is the same result as before. Also reset link cache in TopStyle and clicked Validator Engine Options to see that it gets the new version. No avail. As the only possible other recent interference I uninstalled WPS Office set ...

Re: Link Checking: Internal (Deep) Links

Hi Albert, thanks for your reply & testfile. I pasted the code into TopStyle and it is the same "File not found" either unsaved, saved as ANSI or UTF-8. Pasting into CSE Editor things are fine (after saving first, otherwise it would not check at all). So looks indeed like 15.0304 fixes this somehow....

Link Checking: Internal (Deep) Links

Hi, last week I updated CSE from 14 to 15.0301 (Pro). Since when checking from within TopStyle 5.0.0.104 internal (deep) links (eg #something) are marked as "File not found", even if within the very same file (though it is the same when deep linking to another file). Worth to note that the filename ...

Re: CSE Std 11.01 & PhpED 6.2

Albert,

thanks for offering a hand in this matter. I sent Dmitri a PM with your email. Hope that will be more successful than the discussion has been so far.

Looking forward to a solution,

Re: CSE Std 11.01 & PhpED 6.2

From the PHP IDE team: In fact no newer versions of CSE Lite would work stable under PhpED -- they crash almost immediately after some calls because CSE is trying to show nag window and does so in the thread the library is called in. Because we use a dedicated worker thread for all kinds of backgrou...
