New Computer

I bought a new(ish) computer and need to get my version 10 up and running. I'm not ready to upgrade. Where can I download it?

Opens two tabs

I'm using Firefox 3.5.5, and this only happens with Firefox -- not Chrome, not IE, not Opera. When I click on this page to order a book (the site is mine, I designed and maintain it myself), two tabs are opened and two books are ordered when only one tab should be opened and one book ordered. The pa...

Tidy Config

Hi,

I have Tidy configured just right on one of my desktop profiles, and I want to use that configuration on another profile. Can I just copy and paste a file to the new desktop profile? If so, where is the Tidy config file?

Al,

This is about the HTML Validator 1.2.3 Addon for Firefox. I've been using it for some time now, and just noticed that it is rendering:

<!—end nav—>

instead of

<!--end nav-->

I don't know if it just started doing that, or if I just noticed.

Comment: 0.34s, 0 errors, 5 warnings, 25 messages, 11 validator comments, 199 lines, 170 tags (153 closed), 5 document comments, 12 entities, 529 programs run. I ca...

I'm evaluating HTML editors and find that Tidy in various editors behaves differently - radically differently. And I've fussed with the settings, but the truth is that I don't really know what I'm doing. In particular, I perfer using special characters like: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML ...

I'm looking to learn more about character sets because Tidy is giving me fits. It changes the special characters in my code, and seems to disagree with HTML CSE Validator as to whether the code is valid. Can you suggest a link or two to help straighten me out. I'm a web designer of moderate ability,...
