Batch Wizard Crash

I can not figure out why this error. What I a trying to do is get a list(s) of all the link used in the scripts. One primary objective is to find all the links to the new toy HelpnDoc which are in the /doc/ sub-directory. Wizard crashes when it gets to the check_cost.inc file (which has no links). I...

Batch Wizard Cashing

Version 18.04 Pro I have been playing with a new toy HelpnDoc and wanted to use the Batch Wizard to check the references from my SW files to the help topics. After fixing identified link errors, I realized that some of the links were to old, no longer valid help files. I deleted the help directory a...

Am I being too harsh?
I think not. There are excepting of course, but generally anyone I would not want to read my site won't follow any rules or look for them. More likely "not" is a come on.

Re: TouchPad Windows 10 and CSS Validator

Yep totally random. I was spending too much time developing with CSS to see the overall trend.

Bad sample set; bad results. Oh well moving on.

Re: TouchPad Windows 10 and CSS Validator

Upgrades of both windows 10 and CSS have had no effect. Don't have the same issue when just using browser and email. next step is just have XAMPP and/or CSS on and unused while doing other things. Have not had time to plow through all the search results yet. A quick glance reveals that lots of peopl...

Re: TouchPad Windows 10 and CSS Validator

Albert, switching back and forth between ver 17 and 18 when using 18 the touchpad keeps becoming active. I can not identify what action caused the pad to switch back on. I edit a file, validate, save and switch to FireFox run the PHP script, switch back to CSS, etc. At some point during editing the ...

Re: HTTPS explained with carrier pigeons

Back in the day, we always talked about Alice and Bob wanting to keep information from Catherine. It was not lost on anyone that the Russian diminutive form of Catherine is Katusha; as in the Katusha rocket.

Re: TouchPad Windows 10 and CSS Validator

I know. I couldn't think of an reason why there would be a connection to CSS, however... Yes there is a "Pointer device" utility that I used to disable the pad. I will be more observant and let you know what I learn. Will start with a roll back to 17.0105

TouchPad Windows 10 and CSS Validator

I admit to being old school. I don't like the touch Pad on my laptop, so I have it turned off. I think starting with the last update while using CSS HTML Validator the touch pad becomes active while editing. This does not happen when CSS is not being used. HP Notebook, Windows 10, current, CSS HTML ...
