Re: trouble with css code

on the webpage, the first time I entered <p id="wdg97", the Validator Pro accepted it. I think you need to use class= instead of id= I would set up 2 class p.white { font-family: Helvetica, 'lucida sans', sans-serif; color: #f8f8ff } p.gold { font-family: Helvetica, 'Lucida sans', sans-serif; color...

Can you give me ...If there were ~cse temporary files created during your session with CSE HTML Validator but not deleted when exiting, then this could be a bug. Albert, FYI just did a system search for .cse ~cse and cse (with Validator closed) and didn't find any unexpected files. in fact "cse" is...

Re: Please slove the below error.

How to avoid from geeting this error message. Found an ampersand '&' but could not find a following semicolon for a properly formed character reference. If you want to actually display an ampersand, such as in "Recreation & Sports", then use the character entity reference "&" as in "Recreation & Sp...

Re: A site-wide spell check for v8.0 would be Awesome! PLEAS

Typos are indeed errors, but most pages use some jargon or industry words that it's probably best left as a comment. Bob, I add "jargon" to a custom dictionary. This way I don't get a comment for correctly spelled industry words and the spell checker makes sure I spell them the same across all page...

HTMLValidator is great. With all these possible new features make sure it stays fast and "lightweight".
Everyone uses the tool in different ways creating differnet priorities; bet we all agree with size and speed though!

Albert, an other vote for your view.

To paraphrase slightly; software programs that try to be all thing to all users, end up not doing any task well. Windows is one example. :(

Re: Meaning of Error, Warning, Message and Comment

My management is convinced that any coding is good as long as it works on the boss's computer. Dale Hemming My heart goes out to you Dale. With that myopic view it would seem "the boss" is the only target of your work. Hope they don't decide it would be even more cost effective to just send him a m...

<FRAMESET frameborder=0> error
