Being a dinosaur, ie no smart phone, ipad nor whatever (well the flip-phone does have a <2" screen.

What are some/a good simulator I could use in development to check what pages look like on the small screen?

Can't tell from your post if you are talking about XAMPP, your browser or html validator. Have you gone to XAMPP control panel and started apache? is the file you are trying to open located in ./xampp/htdocs/ ? Just played with PayPal. You can create a "Pay Now" button. That takes One Click to get to PayPal with a fixed amount I tried $0.50 You can also Put a drop down list to go with the "Pay Now" button.
