Upgrades of both windows 10 and CSS have had no effect. Don't have the same issue when just using browser and email. next step is just have XAMPP and/or CSS on and unused while doing other things. Albert, switching back and forth between ver 17 and 18 when using 18 the touchpad keeps becoming active. I can not identify what action caused the pad to switch back on. I know. I couldn't think of an reason why there would be a connection to CSS, however... Yes there is a "Pointer device" utility that I used to disable the pad. I will be more observant and let you know what I learn. Will start with a roll back to 17.0105

I admit to being old school. I don't like the touch Pad on my laptop, so I have it turned off. I think starting with the last update while using CSS HTML Validator the touch pad becomes active while editing. This does not happen when CSS is not being used. Being a dinosaur, ie no smart phone, ipad nor whatever (well the flip-phone does have a <2" screen.

What are some/a good simulator I could use in development to check what pages look like on the small screen?
