How to check html syntax using DocType:strict

My sites are all using: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> Before pasting into my CMS based sites I check the html code (without any html/body tags) with my cse v10. If I'm checking an online web page I suppose CSE picksup th...

Re: Batch wizard validation

Another option would be to create an HTML file that links to all the links you want to check, and then check that file with the Batch Wizard and have it follow the links in it.
Thanks for this idea, did not think of it!

Re: "Don't process these targets" in Batch Wizard issue

As just now I've mentioned, I'd be checking websites containing 100000 pages in batch wizard, I'm not sure whether CSE's memory usage would allow me to check this. Currently I've the latest version. With 32 bit 4 G ram it could check up 17000 pages before crashing. I just want your opinion about it'...

Batch wizard validation

I had raised this issue earlier: http://www.htmlvalidator.com/CSEForum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1070 I work on Joomla & Drupal where pages nos count from: 1 to n. Using some patterns we can exclude/include pages. But can not fully control validation when the pages are numbered from 1 to n. But I want a m...

Re: Slow response of CSE

I did look for the hard disk light when clicking CSE which did not seem to light-up( or may be it was too quick to be observed).
Could pl. explain what an intergrated web browser is?
I use Firefox, Chrome and IE 8.
Thanks

Re: Slow response of CSE

I too thought in the same angle. However there are many other applications I'm using which are taking more memory than CSE but none seem to "hang" for 10 seconds whenever I come back, even after long time ( 1-2 days or so). Here I'm attaching the task manager snapshot I took just before I clicked CS...

Slow response of CSE

I'm using 10.0.0.31 pro. When I come back to CSE after some time (or resumed after hibernation or sleep) to check some page validation, CSE just "hangs" 10 seconds or so, and then becomes responsive. Now and then I'll be going to CSE to check for syntax, I don't want this slow response. If I go back...

Re: "Don't process these targets" in Batch Wizard issue

Unfortunately now only by chance I peeked into this thread. But I'm done for now. My schedule of time for this website (http://www.downloadformsindia.com) is over and is live now. Had I seen your answer I'd definitely have tried your pre-release version. I also want to point out that in your forum "...

Re: 404 Permission denied (Error #10013) when using batch wi

Even inconsistent memory usage by CSE is also problemetic. I've 4 Gb of RAM, on Windows 7, since it's 32 bit it's further reduced to only 3 GB. I'll have to move to 64 bit just because of CSE. When I run CSE batch it may take an hour or so, and my system slows downs because of apache, mysql and cse ...

Re: 404 Permission denied (Error #10013) when using batch wi

Thanks for your reply and valuable insight about Firefox. I'd try to set the time out limit. This may be due to resetting of my external hard-drive on which I've set the Windows temp and tmp environment values but I'm not sure. About the regular expression matching, my website is having 18000 or so ...

"Don't process these targets" in Batch Wizard issue

I'm using v10 pro. I've some 30000 pages in my website with the two category of urls: 1) http://localhost*com_content*.htm 2) http://localhost*com_content*com_download*.htm What I want is to validate only number (2) links and skip all url's without com_download. How to do it? Also com_download pages...
