Thanks Albert.

Does this last modification to the form tag, just disable the name attribute check within the form, or is it disabling more checks?

Thanks again.

Daniel.

It's working. Thanks Albert How about this one [82] The following attributes may not be used with the "form" element in a strict XHTML 1.0 document: "name" and "target". For this one, I would like to disable the "name" attribute, since it's added automatically with .Net. It tried to figure this one,...

Disabling a message for an element within a flag

Hi Albert, I am getting this error message when validating ... [83] The "iframe" element should not be used in a strict XHTML 1.0 document. Note that you may want to consider using a different DOCTYPE declaration that is more lenient and allows more element, such as an HTML 4.01 transitional DOCTYPE...

Hi Albert, Did you remove the "*/" from the excludestrings? I am using the latest Pro version. As for the custom CSS, it doesn't exist! I found that by specifying any filename, it will by default put the styles in the report page ... By leaving the Use external CSS file to change look blank, it was ...

Hi Albert, I think I found out the problem. If any URL ends with a "/" , then another request will be made to get the same URL padded with the filename and any querystring. This could go on and on and on ... I will email you a target list of a small web site, for you to test. If you remove the "*/" ...

Albert,

Then would it be possible, in a future release, to be able to pass, the following 3 pieces of information, when the target is a folder:
- the domain name
- the username to use
- the password to use

Hi Albert, I was using the internal web browser for page validation when I notice, that all links on the domain had a status of 401 - Access Denied . To make it work while using the Open from the web box, I needed the following: - Click the Use username and password - The " Send usernames and passwo...

Hi Albert,

When doing validation with NT authentication, should I be able to check the links as well?

I can do the page validation, but I am getting an 401 - Access Denied for all the links within that domain.

Target List Options suggestion for the Batch Wizard

Hi Albert,

Would it be possible to add another option within the Target List Options.

In the Other Options,

There is a Do not process targets matching these strings.

Would it be possible to add the following:
Process ONLY targets matching these strings.

Daniel.

Here is what I think was going on ...

The second thread had a lock on the Batch Report output file, so CSE could not open it for writing, or close it when done.

It could be Symantec Real Time Scanner ...

Hi Albert, With version 8, while the batch wizard is checking links , I am no longer getting Access Violations, but the software just locks up. Since I have disabled the Hyper Thread Technology in the BIOS, the batch job now runs to completion!!!! It's been running without problems now for a week. D...

Hi Albert, We have a few licenses of CSE HTML Validator, and one user was having the same problem. The solution was to do a full uninstall, which removes all customize settings and registry information. As well, I deleted the HTMLValidator folders from the Program Files folder. It seems the above be...

Albert,

I am not sure about this. By looking at the notation convention used ... when clicking on the Support Key link.

When it's black it means the following: "The feature WAS supported before but is not now. Indicated by a beginning browser version and an ending browser version."
